What is this

I live in Mallorca. Once a month I write a letter about the island: what I saw, who I met, what I heard at night. It is not a guidebook and it is not news. It is a letter from someone who lives here.

Punto 1445

The peak of Puig Major used to be 1,445 metres high, until 9 metres were cut off its summit to make room for a military radar. That point no longer exists, but I write from there: not from the beach and not from the radar, but from a height where the whole island can be seen.

2

The same letter on paper

An envelope, a stamp and a postmark.
